Corner Inlet through the lens - The life and work of photographer John Gunn. This exhibition displays the extraordinary work of local farmer, builder and electrician turned photographer John Gunn. He recorded the people, places, events and industry in Toora and the surrounding district in the early years of the 20th century. Photos include the Peace celebrations at the end of the First World War and the development and construction of the Toora Tin Mine

When: Saturday 9th March to Feb 2020. Open 11am to 3pm: Saturday and Sundays, Public Holidays and daily throughout Vic School Holidays.

Cost: Museum Entry: $10 per family (4), $5 per adult, $4 Concession/Pensioner, 0.50 cents per child.

RECENT LINOCUTS - AILEEN BROWN

Australian linocut artist Aileen Brown, born 1946, is a recognised print maker on the national scene. Her linocuts are distinguished by a particular and unique technical expertise. Aileen reaffirms the 1920’s practice of producing prints coloured from the block rather than hand coloured.

TROSP is a community project in partnership with Parks Victoria to create a communal meeting place at the site of the current playground at Tidal River.
