Sleeping up to 10 guests, Ocean Breeze features light-filled open-plan living, a well-equipped kitchen, complimentary Wi-Fi, linen provided, a cosy wood fireplace, reverse-cycle air conditioning, and a large entertaining deck nestled among the treetops.

Upstairs is the heart of the home, with polished timber floors, open-plan living and dining, and large windows that bring the outdoors in. The dining table seats eight, with additional seating at the breakfast bar. The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric cooktop and oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, and everything you need to prepare meals with ease.

After a day at the beach, unwind by the fireplace, watch a movie, or enjoy the upper deck with BBQ—perfect for morning coffee, long lunches or evenings under the stars.

Set on a private, low-maintenance block, the property also offers ample off-street parking, a carport, storage for bikes, surfboards and beach gear, plus a table tennis table for guests to enjoy.

Other Things to Note

As with all properties in Sandy Point, the home relies on tank water and a septic system. We kindly ask guests to use both responsibly during their stay.

Our holiday properties are privately owned and individually furnished. While this home is fully furnished and well equipped, it may not include every appliance or household item you are accustomed to using. We appreciate your understanding and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please note that the owners have dogs that stay at the property. Although the home is cleaned before each stay, guests with dog allergies should take this into consideration.

Guest Access

Guests have exclusive access to the house and yard. Check-in details will be emailed to you on the day of arrival, including directions to the property, the location of the key safe, and the access code.

Neighbourhood

Sandy Point is located approximately 2.5 hours from Melbourne and around 40 minutes from Wilsons Promontory National Park.

The property is just minutes from the main beach, ideal for swimming, surfing and fishing. During summer, the Waratah Bay Surf Life Saving Club patrols the beach and also operates a bar, with occasional meals and community events.

Shallow Inlet is only a five-minute drive away and is renowned for fishing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. The Sandy Point General Store is your one-stop shop for groceries, bait, fuel, gas, a bottle shop and Australia Post services.

For families and outdoor enthusiasts, Sandy Point also offers:

Sandy Point is an excellent base for exploring South Gippsland. Wilsons Promontory is a short drive away, offering spectacular beaches, walking trails, rivers and abundant native wildlife.

The charming nearby towns of Fish Creek, Walkerville, Foster, Toora and Meeniyan are all within easy driving distance and feature local produce, galleries, cafés, restaurants and wineries.

Other nearby attractions include Cape Liptrap Lighthouse, the historic Walkerville Lime Kilns and the iconic Magic Beach. The Great Southern Rail Trail (131 km), stretching from Nyora to Yarram, can be accessed at Fish Creek and is perfect for walking and cycling.

Getting Around

Sandy Point is a lovely village to explore on foot. If you plan to visit nearby towns and attractions, a car is recommended.

Please be aware that due to the closure of the Gippsland power stations, power outages can occasionally occur during peak demand periods, particularly in summer. Mobile phone coverage can also be limited; Telstra generally provides the most reliable service in the area.
