Relax into coastal living at this pet friendly, open plan beach house, just a short walk to the surf beach and general store, and perfect for families or groups looking to unwind.
Take a moment to enjoy farmland views from the rear garden, have a barbecue on the entertaining deck, or treat yourself to a cosy afternoon inside by the wood fireplace in winter. Surrounded by nature, with established gardens, you can watch the birds, talk to the cows over the back fence, or if you’re lucky, receive a visit from the native koalas who live in the area.

Designed for modern and sustainable living, this home has Starlink wifi, a smart TV and full solar installation, enabling you to enjoy your time away (or work remotely if you really must!). The property has reverse cycle airconditioning in the main living
area as well as ceiling fans throughout. It also has drinkable tap water from the large water tank.

The three bedrooms can sleep up to 9 guests (downstairs one room with a queen bed plus bunks, and upstairs two rooms, one with a queen bed as well as a balcony, and another with a queen bed and a separate single bed). The large open plan
living space and kitchen is light and bright, with plenty of room for everyone.
Downstairs is the bathroom with shower over bath, a separate toilet and a laundry with a washing machine if needed.

Surfboards, boogie boards, books and games are also provided for all guests to borrow.

The home is pet friendly inside and out, with fully fenced front and rear gardens. There is plenty of space to park your boat, should you wish to launch at Shallow Inlet, a 5 minute drive away. The inlet has picturesque sand dunes and is a great
playground for kids, fishing and boating, whilst also being one of the top windsurfing spots in the whole of Australia.

Wilsons Promontory National Park (“the Prom”) is just a 25 minute drive away, with multiple bush trails, rugged beaches and panoramic views. The local wombats, kangaroos and emus will be waiting to meet you.

Bedding (ie doonas, pillows and blankets) is provided but guests must bring their own linen (doona covers, sheets and pillow cases) and towels (beach, bath and hand).

BYO linen - or hire it to make it easier!

Smoking is NOT permitted inside the property.

While the property is fully furnished and well equipped, it may not have all appliances and equipment you may be used to using. We apologise if this causes inconvenience.

  • Getting Around

Sandy Point is a lovely Village to stroll around, however getting beyond this you will need your own car.

  • Other things to note

Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. Mobile phone coverage can also be poor, travellers are advised to use Telstra for the best coverage in our area. This is unfortunately completely out of our control.
Each property in Sandy Point is on tank water and septic systems.
